Sony CEO Says ‘Door Is Closed’ on Spider-Man Appearing in MCU
Sony Pictures Chairman and CEO Tony Vinciquerra recently spoke at the ‘Variety’ Entertainment and Technology summit about the future of ‘Spider-Man.’
In reference to Sony’s recent feud with Disney, Vinciquerra said “for the moment the door is closed” on Spider-Man continuing to appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Tony Vinciquerra, via ‘Variety’ Vinciquerra did say that there was “no ill will” between the studios and may have implied a future resolution, saying “it’s a long life.”
When asked about Kevin Feige, president of Marvel Studios, Vinciquerra praised his work, but hinted that Sony would be fine without his involvement. Tony Vinciquerra, via ‘Variety’
